The Bezirkslehrerchor Horn (teacher’s choir Horn) consists of about 30 members. Most of them are teachers at primary or secondary schools in the district of Horn or of neighbouring districts.
We sing all sorts of a-capella songs from different centuries. Our repertory are about 400 songs.
Our choirmaster has been Maria Magdalena Nödl since the foundation of the choir in 1992/93. She is an experienced conductress and has also performed big orchestral oevres with her choirs “Capella Ars Musica” or “Stadtchor Eggenburg” (see links).
The rehearsals take place at the high school in Horn (NMS Horn, Robert Hamerling Straße 1, 3580 Horn) every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
